Hosting Eucharistic Adoration allows our parishioners the opportunity to get to know the Lord better and to pray for the Church. Hours are staffed by prayer partners allowing flexibility in scheduling.
Beautify your church! The group designs and implements the decorations for the church according to liturgical seasons and feasts.
Help is always needed to help with floral arranging, watering flowers and plants, shopping for materials, and the design, set up and take down of decorations.
OLC’s Adult Formation team provides various opportunities for further studies through a detailed look through scripture and other religious studies.
Please come and join us to play Canasta on Friday from 10 am – Noon. We will teach you to play.
A group of about 30 women who meet every Wed in the Church hall after the 9 am mass to make baby quilts and other charitable projects.
Adult Catholics in good standing who have a love for the Eucharist and wish to serve their fellow parishioners.
A staple of Southern Stone County. Conducted the 2nd weekend in May and October and is the largest fundraiser for OLC. Volunteers are needed in the months prior to sort and organize donated items, and many volunteers are needed on Thu – Sat of the sale to set up and assist.
Help present OLC to new arrivals and observers by tending and beautifying our grounds.
Glorify God by ministering with love to the spiritual needs of the homebound with prayer and the Eucharist.
Catholic men’s group with the goal to help men, their families and their parishes grow closer to Christ. OLC Knight’s is strong, active and looking for new members to help meet the needs of our parish community.
Book Club that meets on the 2nd Tues of each month from Sep – Apr in the Parish Library at 10:30 am.
Media Ministry is helping bring the word and sacraments of God to parishioners and visitors through the use the technology of live streaming. They operate the camera, computers and sound systems for this purpose.
Lectors are adult Catholics in good standing with a love for the Word of God.
Share your musical talents with a supportive group of parishioners who love to spread the joy of the liturgy through music. Opportunities for those who play piano, organ or other musical instruments, cantors to lead the singing for mass, or those who like to sing in a group setting in our choir.
Provides funding and/or volunteer time to assist parishioners and Stone County residents in various ways.
All women in our parish are members of the Parish Council of Catholic Women which strives to engage Catholic women of all ages and encourage them to deepen their spirituality, grow in leadership and meet the needs of today’s society through service.
Operates from 9 am – 3 pm on the 1st and 2nd Wed of the month and from 9 am – 11 am on the 3rd Wed and is the largest Food Pantry in all of Stone County. We feed about 250 families every month and can always use more hands.
Parish School of Religion (PSR) meets each Wed at 6:30 pm for 1 hour with children ages 4 – high school. Volunteers needed to help pass on the faith. Click on Faith Formation, PSR/Youth at the top for more information.
